What is Habitat?
Habitat is a gamified chore management app that helps families stay organized by turning household tasks into an engaging system where kids earn coins for completing chores. These coins can be redeemed for real-world rewards, or they can be converted to cash.
Who is Habitat for?
Habitat is designed for families with kids, making it easier for parents to assign chores and track progress while giving children a fun incentive to stay on top of their tasks.
How does Habitat work?
Parents create a family in the app and assign chores to their children. Kids complete tasks to earn in-app currency, which can be redeemed for rewards set by the parents.
Tasks & Rewards
How do tasks reset?
Habitat runs on a weekly cycle (Sunday-Saturday). Tasks and progress reset at the start of a new week. Recurring tasks run indefinitely until the parent cancels them.
Can tasks be customized?
Yes! Parents can create custom tasks with specific requirements, assign them to individual children, and determine the coin rewards.
How do rewards work?
Parents can create custom rewards in the app. Kids can use their earned coins to redeem rewards, which then move to a “pending” state until the parent approves them.
Account & Family Management
Can multiple parents manage a family?
Yes, multiple parents can be added to a family, allowing them to create and approve tasks or rewards.
Can I add multiple children?
Yes, you can add multiple children to a single family account, each with their own task list and progress tracking.

Is Habitat free to use?
Yes, Habitat is free to use. However, there is a premium plan that allows unlimited family members, tasks, and rewards.
Do I need an internet connection to use Habitat?
Yes, an internet connection is required to sync tasks and rewards across devices.
How is my data stored?
Habitat uses Supabase for secure data storage.
How is my data used?
You can view the privacy policy here. We never share your data with third parties.
Is Habitat available on both iOS and Android?
